Ways to Play

  • Leagues run all week long, are segmented by skill level, and have fun, familiar formats like MLP, Ladders, King of the Court, and more.

  • Open play format is the most familiar way to play in doubles pickleball and is core to The Club. Hop in line from your phone, and rotate in when your turn is up. Open play at The Club has some skill based segmentation.

  • Advanced group lessons like “offensive slice dinking” or beginner lessons covering the basics are offered weekly. There is a way for everyone to take a next-step.

  • We have a schedule of social and competitive events year-round. Everything from Minor League Pickleball regional circuit tournaments, to Firefighters vs. The Police, to Valentines Double Dink Dinner, and more. Join the waitlist to get a more detailed list of events for this coming year.

 FAQs

  • We are in process with the City of Redding on both Occupancy and Use Permits. Interior demo has begun, and demising is next. Plumbing modifications, new electrical wiring, and floor/surface scraping and prep is on deck. All that to say - I’m not sure! These projects are somewhat unpredictable and we are going to update waitlisters as we know more. It’s safe to say we want it to open just as badly as you!

  • Less than a mile off the Interstate 5 on the North side of Redding, we’re building a place for you. Expect a beautiful lounge, an upstairs pickleball training center, 8 or 9 indoor courts, and we are likely to be approved for 12 outdoor courts by the City of Redding building department!

  • Our Courts construction, material selection - and all the details that matter - have been dictated by Ben and Collin John’s consultancy. Ben is the most dominant pro player of all time, with more than 120 gold medals at PPA events. As of 10/16/24 he is number one for the season in Mixed Doubles, Mens doubles, and number two in Mens Singles. More than 20 times Ben has won gold in all three events in a single weekend - a “triple crown”. Nobody else touches this record. Ben’s triple crown logo will be on our courts at Redding Pickleball Club AND he and his brother Collin will come visit us to put on a private opening clinic just for Redding Pickleball Club.

  • If we are open in time, we are currently discussing dates in February, but we have to coordinate with the PPA and MLP tournaments schedules. We have signed an agreement with them already, and Joola is helping us coordinate schedules as we know more about our public-readiness.

  • I wish I could tell you! We will have professional staff to help players of all skill levels grow, and we are excited to announce who they are, but its premature. We also haven’t closed the doors on new relationships either - so if you know someone please refer us! admin@reddingpickleballclub.com

  • Yes! We will have options for non-members to come and get a taste of The Club and its offerings.

  • Our lounge will be serving Fall River beer on tap and offering the best of Shasta County local wine. We are also planning on bringing in Theory cold brew coffee, and T Bar draft iced coffee.

    Food options will be limited to grab and go, but there will be tables and space for you to bring in your own food, or for our rotation of local food trucks in the evenings.

    We also have free delivery to The Club from Pizza Factory!

  • Our technology partner PodPlay (google them!) has made beautiful software for us to have our own membership app for your phone. You’ll be able to log in as a member, see what courts we’ve made available for reservations, and grab an hour for you and your friends.

    Most of the court time in evenings will be facilitating Open Play and Leagues, but reservations will be a great way to get your friends in with you during off-peak hours.
